Waratah 'Shady Lady Red' – 14cm Pot

An evergreen, compact large shrub with dark green leathery leaves and large red flowers in Spring. The flowers are great for attracting native birds to our garden and for creating a safe haven. Once the flowers have finished, prune the plant back 5-10 centimetres as this will encourage healthy new growth to emerge. Moderate water requirements once established. Keep moist during periods of extended heat and dry. Keep the plant well watered for the first 2 years for it to establish. Waratah Shady Lady Red can tolerate full sun but does thrive in a position which is sheltered from the extreme hot afternoon sun in the Summer.
