Spanish tarragon is a hardy, aromatic herb with narrow green leaves and a mild aniseed flavour, perfect for seasoning meats, salads, sauces, and vinegars.

 Plant the young seedling in a sunny position with well-drained soil, spacing it about 30cm from other plants to allow room to grow. Water regularly while establishing, then only as needed once mature, and trim often to encourage fresh new growth.
