Salvia yangii (formerly Perovskia), or Russian Sage, is a hardy, drought-tolerant perennial valued for its silvery aromatic foliage and airy spikes of soft lavender-blue flowers. Blooming from summer into autumn, it brings texture, color, and movement to borders while attracting bees and butterflies. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil, it requires minimal care and thrives in hot, dry conditions.
Plant in a sunny, open position with excellent drainage and prune back in late winter to encourage fresh growth.
