Rocket salad (arugula)  is a fast-growing leafy green with soft, jagged leaves and a peppery flavor. Plant in well-drained soil with partial to full sun, spacing seedlings to allow airflow and harvesting regularly to encourage fresh growth. Keep the soil evenly moist and avoid extreme heat to prevent the leaves from becoming too bitter.
