Plum Illawarra 20cm

Plum 'Illawarra' is a fast-growing native tree prized for its striking dark green foliage, rich red new growth, and masses of small white flowers in spring, followed by edible purple-black fruit. Perfect for creating privacy screens or as a feature tree, it thrives in full sun to part shade and is well-suited to a variety of soils, including clay. Low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, it’s an excellent choice for both urban gardens and larger landscapes.

Conditions: Full sun. Plant in well-drained soil with moderate water needs and minimal pruning.

Size: Grows up to 8–10m high and 5–6m wide.
