Mandarin Honey Murcott 17cm
A mandarin variety prized for its rich, sweet flavours. It produces later in the season than most mandarins - usually from late winter to mid-spring - but the wait is more than worth it for the medium-sized, rich, honey-sweet fruit. Honey Murcott is excellent eaten straight off the tree, the yellow-orange rind being easy to peel, and has a high juice content, making it a great pick for kitchen applications as well. The tree is bushy and vigorous, sporting glossy green leaves and small, white flowers just before fruiting.
