Magnolia ‘Genie’ | Featured in Compact Spaces

A beautiful feature for compact gardens, Magnolia ‘Genie’ brings dramatic deep burgundy, goblet-shaped flowers to a naturally upright and compact form. Carefully selected as part of Warners Nurseries’ Plant What Where Compact Spaces collection, it is an elegant choice for courtyards, smaller gardens and large containers, adding seasonal colour and structure without overwhelming the space.

Plant Care

Position: Full sun to part shade in a protected position with well-drained, fertile soil. Shelter from strong winds to protect the flowers.

Care: Keep the soil consistently moist while establishing, particularly during flowering and warmer weather. Mulch well to maintain a cool root zone and feed in spring with a suitable slow-release fertiliser. Pruning is generally minimal, but can be carried out after flowering if needed.

Size: Approximately 3m high x 2m wide.
