Magnolia 'Black Tulip' 40cm

Magnolia 'Black Tulip' is a striking deciduous variety admired for its unusually deep, rich burgundy-purple blooms—the darkest of any magnolia—which appear in late winter to early spring in Australia. The tulip-shaped flowers are large, upright, and create a dramatic statement against the bare branches. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded location with well-drained, slightly acidic soil and benefits from protection from strong winds and late frosts. A stunning feature tree for gardens or courtyards.
