Lavender ‘English Summer Blue’ is a compact, fragrant perennial shrub with soft blue-purple flower spikes held above silvery-green foliage, attracting bees and butterflies all summer. This new form of English Lavender boasts improved hardiness and long flowering displays, perfect for Australian conditions. 'English Summer Blue' is perfect for adding colour to beds, borders, and waterwise garden displays from late spring all the way through autumn with its exceptional repeat blooms.

Best results are achieved when planted in well-drained soil. Prune back by a third in winter for good spring growth, and cut spent flower heads for a tidy appearance and more vigorous blooms. Feeding 'English Summer Blue' in early spring with a slow-release fertiliser such as B-Green Complete Organic is highly recommended, as it results in better and longer-lasting floral displays.
