A popular cultivar, beloved for its spectacular blooms and year-round interest. Flowers are a brilliant shade of white, blooming in large, terminal panicles from mid-summer into early autumn. Foliage is delightful - a mid-green summer shade, with a glossy sheen, makes flowers stand out spectacularly, while autumn hues of reddish-bronze elegantly herald in the cooler months. Winter interest is kept high through exfoliating bark, giving way to reddish-pink underbark and giving the plant a spectacular textured feel. Form is good, a vase-shaped to rounded habit, with good spread and multi-stemmed branches. Branch tips may become slightly pendulous, creating an excellent semi-weeping effect. Excellent in any landscape, as specimen plants or as pops of colour and style where fitting. Excellent centrepiece for smaller spaces and courtyards.
