Horseradish – 10cm pot

A perennial herb with long, fleshy white roots and leafy stems and producing a white flower in summer. Horseradish is ideally grown in the herb garden, or in a mixed border. Harvest roots when plant if fully matured. Roots can be stored for 2-3 months in the crisper. The raw, grated root is used to make relish or sauces to complement beef dishes.
