A hardy, evergreen perennial with rich, dark green foliage and striking crimson-red flowers that bloom from winter to mid-spring. 'Anna’s Red' offers long-lasting colour and is ideal for adding contrast to borders, underplanting trees, or as a feature in pots. Thrives in shaded, sheltered spots but also tolerates full sun. Prefers humus-rich soil but will adapt to sandy conditions if kept watered in heat. It has low water needs once established; occasional summer watering keeps it lush.
