Feijoa sellowiana also known as Pineapple Guava is an evergreen shrub or small tree valued for its edible fruit and ornamental appeal. It features thick, grey-green leaves with silvery undersides and striking red and white flowers in late spring to early summer. The sweet, aromatic fruit ripens in autumn. Feijoa thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and is drought- and frost-tolerant once established. It’s ideal for edible gardens, hedging, or as a feature plant. Light pruning after fruiting encourages shape and productivity.
Size at maturity: 2–4 meters tall and 2–3 meters wide
