Delphinium Delgenius Glitzy 20cm

Delphinium DELGENIUS 'Glitzy’ is a striking perennial hybrid with tall spikes of sparkling blue flowers, appearing from summer into autumn. 'Glitzy' is unique for it's compact and re-flowering habit, making it a top pick for long-lasting floral displays and adding colour to tight spaces. It's perfect for patio containers, and grows well in smaller spots, making it a popular option for city gardening. It's also fantastic in mixed borders and beds, being highly attractive to pollinators and reasonably hardy, as well as cottage-style gardens. It's long-lasting flowers make it similarly popular for cut flower displays.

'Glitzy' performs best when spent flower stems are pruned, mulch is applied during warmer months, and slow-release fertiliser is applied in spring and after pruning. We recommend B-Green Organic Slow Release to help promote healthy growth and profuse blooms on Delphiniums. Water regularly until established and during periods of sustained dry weather.
