A superb 21st century Camellia release from a renowned New Zealand breeder, Volunteer™ grows flowers and performs exceptionally well. Masses of bold bicolour blooms standout against deep dark green foliage. Growth is vigorous but bushy and overall hardiness is excellent. Volunteer™ can handle full sun to part shade and will not disappoint.
If planting Volunteer™ as a hedge or screen we recommend planting with a spacing of between 1.2m to 1.5m apart.
Use the narrower spacing where a dense, bushy hedge is required quickly, and wider spacings for a superior long term effect.
