Banksia integrifolia 'Roller Coaster'- 14cm Pot

A cascading native ground cover with glossy green, serrated foliage with a white underside. Large lemon coloured, candle-like flowers appear above the foliage from summer to winter. 'Roller Coaster' has low water requirements once established, deep watering during extended periods of heat will benefit the plant. Fertilise once every 4-6 months with an Australian Native fertiliser to promote healthy growth.

Planting Tips: 

When planting Australian natives they don’t require too much work to get them settled. Fertiliser Australian native plants in the prime growing seasons, spring and early autumn for the best results. However, make sure to use the right food. Almost all natives dislike soils and food with high phosphorus levels, therefore when fertilising these plants make sure to use a fertiliser made especially for them with phosphorus (P) level of 3% or less. We recommend using Osmocote Native Controlled Release Fertiliser for natives.

If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Make sure to use a premium quality Australian Native Potting Mix as this has the correct balance of wetting agents and nutrients required for having a healthy plant. We recommend Grow Better Native Potting Mix if you plan to plant 'Roller Coaster' in a pot or container.
