Astilbe ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ is a clump forming perennial with deep burgundy foliage and dense, dark plum to red flowers that emerge in mid to late summer.

It prefers partial to full shade and consistently moist, well drained soil, thriving in woodland gardens, borders, or containers. You can cut back after flowering to maintain a tidy appearance.
