Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Wave'

A semi-weeping maple with an unusual, wave-like branch structure and excellent foliage colour. Foliage is deeply incised, fine, and lacy, with a stunning wine-red, near-burgundy, purplish shade to it. Leaves are found on upright, spreading branches, forming a multi-branch crown structure. Bark is brownish-green, aging to a dignified grey tone. An ideal tree for medium-large open spaces, with stunning colours and spreading branches making a brilliant feature or specimen tree, though can fit and thrive in smaller areas or containers.
