An attractive cultivar with excellent blooms. Flowers are pure white, with attractive gold antlers, borne in large panicles from summer into early autumn. These blooms look spectacular set against a backdrop of dark green and lustrous summertime foliage. Springtime colours are greens with a strong bronze overtone, while autumn brings a showy display of purple-tinged reds, keeping seasonal interest high. Winter, too, has visual interest in spectacular bark - exfoliating to reveal light greyish-browns, creating a stunning mottled texture. Growth habit is rounded, and branches are low spreading and semi-pendulous, giving this tree a slight weeping effect. Makes an excellent specimen tree, or a delightful planting along a pathway or throughout landscapes frequented during the warmer months.
