Rhodanthemum 'African Eyes White' – 14cm Pot

Small, hardy, fast-growing, evergreen shrub with beautiful silver-grey green foliage. Rhodanthemum African Eyes produces masses of daisy-like pure white blooms with a Burt orange centre. Flowers appear in spring, summer and a spot flowering in autumn. Rhodanthemum African Eyes is ideal for mass plantings, cottage gardens,  bee-friendly spaces and container gardening. Moderate to low water requirements once established, however, they will benefit from occasional watering during dry spells.

Planting Tips: 

Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to condition and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend compost/manure with the pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot, make sure the container selected is large enough for the plant which is going to be planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
