Geum Jazzy Mai Tai 14cm

Geum Mai Tai features dainty, ruffled flower heads of pink flushed, apricot coloured flowers. These sit on contrasting deep coloured stems which are produced from Spring into Summer. Use the evergreen foliage which forms as neat, low growing mounds for mass planting or as a ground cover. Ideal for edging for paths, walls or other hard surfaces, rockeries or gravel style gardens, or containers and/or small gardens.

Planting Tips:

Make sure to prepare the soil prior to planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost can help to conditions and revitalise tired soil. Make sure to blend with pre-existing soil, mixing together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a hole which is wider, but not deeper, than what the original size of the pot the plant has come in. Position the plant in the hole and backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.
If planting into a pot make sure that the container chosen is large enough for the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container which is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
