Dreameria ‘Daydream’ – 14cm Pot

Dreameria Daydream is a wonderful clumping, compact, evergreen perennial that is ideal for smaller spaces or container gardens. From Spring through to Autumn, globed, hot-pink flowers emerge on long slender stems. Flowers are ideal for floral arrangements. Dreameria Daydream has deep green, grass-like foliage which keeps its colour all year round. Very low water requirements once established, however, the plant will benefit from occasional watering in dry, hot weather.

Planting Tips: 

Prepare the soil before planting. Mixing in a bag of well-aged animal manure or compost will help to condition and revitalise tired soils. If adding organic matter to your soil, make sure to blend the compost or animal manure with pre-existing soil, mixing/digging it together thoroughly. Once the soil has been prepared, dig a wider hole, but not deeper, than the pot’s original size has come in. Position the plant in the hole, backfill any gaps with the excess soil. Do not bury the graft of the plant. Give the plant a deep soaking of water to help settle the roots.Suppose planting into a pot. The container chosen is large enough to accommodate the plant being planted. Never pot a plant into a container that is too small. Use a premium quality potting mix as this has all the added fertilisers and wetting agents required for having a healthy plant.
