Basil Genovese

This variety has been grown by our supplier Scotsburn. Although you only get 3 single seedlings unlike other basils, these high performance seedlings will grow into big beautiful plants that have an exceptional aroma. Try and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Genovese Basil is a sweet, aromatic Italian basil with large glossy leaves, prized for pesto and fresh flavour, that grows bushy and lush when kept warm, well‑fed, and regularly pinched. Don't water too late in the day.

Position: Full Sun (6–8 hours daily)
