Carpet Rose 'Scarlet' is highly disease resistant and can tolerate heavy frost. From spring, petite semi-double, red-scarlet blooms appear. The flowers have a pleasant fragrance and a notable ability to retain beautiful, fire engine red colour for the entire life of the flower even after rainfall.

This is easy to grow, sprawling rose ideal as a living mulch in the garden. Low maintenance with no spraying required due to their great disease-resistance. All the carpet roses are ‘self-cleaning’ and very rarely require deadheading.
