Hardenbergia violacea ‘Meema’ is a shrubby and compact Australian native groundcover known for its vibrant purple pea-shaped flowers that appear from late winter to early spring. Its lush green foliage has a good upright habit and provides year-round interest, and is ideal for spilling over retaining walls, covering slopes, or massing in landscapes. 'Meema' maintains a tidy form without pruning, making a spectacular addition to native gardens or low-maintenance landscapes.
Low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, and suits a wide range of soils. Recommended for planting in mulched locations. Prune annually after flowering for a natural shape and full bloom next year, or as needed for hedging.
